From 26/07 - 17 Aug we are spending our holiday at strandjutter 208.

We already knew Boomhiemke and made our choice for this house very deliberately. We wholeheartedly agree with the comments of the reviewers above - what more to say..... it is top. Daughter and son-in-law are staying a bit further along and drop by now and then for a pleasant visit. We still have a nice 10 days or so to enjoy here...

We enjoyed our stay on Ameland and what fantastic service, regarding transport, meals and a cozy evening.
The house is perfect, beautiful location, cozily furnished and equipped with all amenities.

From 2 to 8 July 2011 we stayed at the Strandjutter 208. Really great! The house is equipped with every luxury and the garden is super: beautiful garden furniture, very private and a fantastic BBQ.

Of course we didn't sit in the house the whole week, and we explored the island by car, by bike and on foot. Nice and cozy little places, all nearby of course, beautiful dunes and beach, and there is even a forest.....

We also had one morning of rain, but we spent that time nicely in the swimming pool of Boomhiemke.

In short, Ameland is really a must-visit, and certainly in combination with the Strandjutter 208!!!

A lovely little house on Ameland. Gorgeous weather, we spent a lot of time on the terrace, went to the beach. Evenings barbecue and outside until late. Also ate at Tante An (highly recommended). Unique for May.
The house is excellently located near the heath and the dunes. Boomhiemke has a swimming pool and delicious food (snack bar and restaurant). The house is luxurious, e.g. a jacuzzi, large terrace, barbecue. But the location is the best of all.
We really enjoyed 2 weeks and we are returning to Amsterdam fully rested and eager to get back to work. Until next year

We really enjoyed the lovely little house. Especially the spot between the dunes. We also stayed in Strandjutter 208 last year. It's ideally located with its own entrance to the dunes or the village. We cycled a lot. We had wonderful summer weather. Nicely situated on the sun beds. A wonderful large terrace. Truly holiday on a lovely island. We will certainly come back. We actually fell in love with this house after 2 weeks of vacation. We like that it is well maintained and improved where necessary.

We spent last weekend in the fantastic cottage "Strandjutter 208" and had a great time. We liked it so much that we will definitely be coming back! A real recommendation for anyone who loves luxury and plenty of peace and quiet!

Unfortunately, today is our last day here. A really lovely little house: it attracts a lot of attention from passing walkers and cyclists. Every day there are little rabbits in the garden.
